To log in to the discussion, you must complete two easy steps:
1. All new users must register for an ATutor System Account. Click on the Enroll Me tab at the top of the screen and on the subsequent page click on Register. Complete the information in the required fields. We’d like to know who is participating so your Login Name should be your first and last name – all one word. In the Personal Information Section, please provide the name of your organization in any of the fields (there is not a field specified for organization).

2. Login and add 'The Paths to Financial Vibrancy Project' into your account. Once you login, click on Browse Courses which will take you to a page with links to several different courses arranged alphabetically. Please scroll down and click on 'The Paths to Financial Vibrancy Project'. Click on 'Enter Course' and on the subsequent page click 'Enroll me' at the top of the page. You are now registered and ready to start posting in the forums!

Once you have registered, you can participate in The Forum section whenever you choose. This is an asynchronous means of communication, meaning that there is no need for the participants to log on at the same time. You can re-log in and post your response in the Forum at any time of the day or night. Remember to BOOKMARK THIS PAGE and check back often to read about what others are saying in the Forum.

Before you get started, please refer to the Content Navigation menu to the right of the screen – here you will find more information about the Paths to Financial Vibrancy Project. For frequently asked questions, please refer to the FAQs section.

The Discussion is divided up into the various paths (or capacities) we want to explore. Under each path there are a number of sub-paths, where we ask you to provide your comments. Basically, we ask that you share - in point form if you wish – “do’s” and “don’ts,” and any caveats you think people should be mindful of based on your experiences in one or more of the following inter-related paths to financial vibrancy:

We also ask that if you have a success story, to please share that as well. Success stories will inspire others and help them see your success as real and attainable.

Keep in mind: there is more to financial vibrancy than finance.

First and foremost, financial vibrancy is the product of multiple organizational capacities such as visioning, strategic planning, leadership, financial and program accountability, effective human resource management, effective communication and partnership, and so forth. No single capacity works in isolation from any of the others; and moreover, they are dynamically linked: responding to opportunities, challenges and needs on an ongoing basis. (see About Financial Vibrancy Section)

You’re now ready to get started … Reflect. Relax. Share. Thanks very much for your participation! If you have any questions, contact Shelley Smith at shelley@onestep.on.ca

The Online Forum is hosted by the Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Projects (ONESTEP), a province-wide umbrella organization for non-profit agencies that provide community-based training (CBT) programs.
